Cobblers fans have raised concerns as to where the NTFC/CDNL warehouse plans leave matchday parking.
The South stand car park was recently lost to new development and the plans to build warehouses on land around Sixfields stadium would see the North stand car park disappear.
As we understand it, some extra car parking would be provided immediately behind the East Stand - including disabled parking - and the West Stand car park would remain.
But the vast majority of fans who drive to games would be expected to park in the designated Claret car park on Edgar Mobbs Way - a good walk from the stadium.
These plans are still an outline and no planning application has gone forward but we would appreciate a statement from the club allaying concerns about parking that many fans have.
And we do question the lack of vision - from both the club and council - in settling for a large warehouse over half of the athletics track land, especially as it is likely there will be no discernible financial or community benefit for the club from this development.
