Trust update: November 2020

20th Nov 2020

Annual General Meeting

The Trust board has agreed to hold its Annual General Meeting next February.
Information will be mailed out to members in due course – owing to logistical considerations as a result of the health crisis, the annual raffle will not take place this year.

The Trust has a new email address – we can be reached on ntfctrust1992@gmail.com

Please contact us if you are interested in joining the Trust board in 2021, or if you have any questions for our officers – chairman Andy Roberts, board secretary Helen Hickman, treasurer Barry Collins or membership secretary Stuart Taylor.

And also please get in touch if your postal address or email address has recently changed, indicating that you are happy for us to use these to contact you as per GDPR requirements.

Future of Football/Sustain The Game

The Trust is Zoom meeting with other Supporters Trusts next month, via the Football Supporters Association, to discuss common principles which will form part of the promised fan-led review into football reform.
We will also open out the debate to Trust members, focus groups and the wider fan base in the coming months.

The club has indicated its willingness to take part in these discussions and we will keep you posted as to how this develops.

Sixfields pitch concerns

The Trust has contacted the club with concerns about the condition of the Sixfields pitch.
Chief executive James Whiting has responded to these concerns and we will print his email in full in a separate release.

Loneliness project

We are delighted to sign up to the Loneliness project, aimed at older Cobblers fans, which is being organised by the Community Trust.
Initially we will help the CT promote the initiative which is designed to encourage fans to chat about and share memories of their life and times supporting the claret and white.
