NEWS FROM THE SUPPORTERS TRUST…
ACV land bid position
There remains no change to the status of the Trust’s bid to buy land at Sixfields, including that behind the East Stand which had been registered as an Asset of Community Value (ACV).
A Judicial Review hearing has been granted into West Northamptonshire’s Council decision to agree a land deal with County Developments Northampton Ltd, a company wholly-owned by Northampton Town FC. A date for the hearing is yet to be fixed.

New membership rates
New annual membership rates of £10 (individual) and £100 (corporate) were introduced on 1 January. Life memberships and multi-year deals are no longer available – the status of existing life members remains unchanged.
Renewal notices have also gone out to members whose memberships expired at the end of the year. Membership can be renewed via Paypal on the Join Us section of the Trust website.
Trust meeting with club chairman Kelvin Thomas
Last month, Supporters Trust chair Andy Roberts had an initial meeting with club chairman Kelvin Thomas alongside a representative from the Football Supporters Association.
Another meeting is being scheduled in late January/early February in a bid to bring the club and Trust closer together following a clear breakdown in the relationship.
Football and Christmas shopping awayday in Harrogate
Cobblers Travel ran a coach for a football and shopping awayday in Harrogate, which was diverted to Stratford-upon-Avon for shopping and a few drinks once news came through that the game had been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
The Trust is looking to run a coach to the final game of the season at Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 6 May, mindful that the date and kick-off time may change to avoid a clash with the King’s Coronation. For more information about Cobblers Travel, please contact Roger Averill on 07802 437422.
Club 500
Roger Averill is again the point of contact for anyone interested in signing up to the Trust’s Club 500 monthly draw – for a minimum outlay of £5 a month you stand to win some great cash prizes. Again, please contact Roger on the number above.
30th anniversary of the Trust
The anniversary year of the Supporters Trust concludes with the Anniversary Raffle, which is free to enter for Club 500 members and Trust members who register an interest.
The draw will take place on Sunday 22 January and prizewinners will be notified the following week.
