The Supporters Trust has written to Cobblers chief executive James Whiting, offering to assist with the promotion of any fans-led funding initiative that the club may choose to bring forward as a result of the covid-19 crisis.
We have also said thank you to the football club for commendably looking after its staff, on and off the field, during this unprecedented and uncertain period.
The Trust itself is already financially supporting the Community Trust's befriending service with monthly payments for the duration of this crisis.
The Trust's board will meet again at the end of the month to re-evaluate the impact the crisis is having on football and to consider any response from the football club.
