The Supporters Trust were delighted to welcome some stars of yesteryear to Sixfields this afternoon.
Seven members of the late Bill Dodgin's 1975/76 promotion-winning side watched the present incarnation lose at home to Doncaster Rovers all of fifty years later.
The event was organised with sterling support from Steve Phillips and enabled older fans to catch up with some of their old football heroes.
Each player was presented with a Cobblers storybook and a Sixfields print by the Trust, in recognition of their service and in appreciation of the pleasure they gave to many.
