New Trust website online this weekend

31st Jan 2020

NTFC Supporters Trust is launching a new-look website next week as part of our commitment to improve our engagement with both the Trust membership and the wider Cobblers supporter base.

All the existing features are retained but minutes of monthly Trust board minutes will now be published on the site’s Governance section.

The Events section will list Trust activities for the year ahead, including the annual general meeting and two open meetings – one in the spring, the other in the summer – for anyone to attend.

New to the site will be a Forum, enabling registered users who are prepared to use their own name to post on all number of discussion topics about the Trust and the football club.

Chairman Andy Roberts said that the new website was key to the Trust improving its communications with Northampton Town fans.

He said: “We have been acutely aware for some time that our engagement with both our membership and the wider fan base could be considerably improved.

“To that end, we now publish summaries of our monthly board meetings on our website and social media platforms.

“We held a public meeting on our exploration of community ownership last year and also held an open meeting last summer which Northampton Borough Council leader Jonathan Nunn attended.

“The forum will enable registered users, posting under their own names, to ask questions about what we are doing and make suggestions as to what they feel we should be doing. We hope these discussions will be lively, constructive and informative and, not least, courteous.”

The new Trust website goes online over the coming weekend, February 1 and 2 – www.ntfctrust.co.uk
