The board of Northampton Town Supporters Trust has agreed to mark the 50th anniversary of the late Bill Dodgin’s promotion-winning Cobblers team of 1975/6 by granting honorary Trust membership invitations to the remaining team members from that season.
They are:

* Jim Hall
* Jeff Parton
* Steve Phillips
* Stuart Robertson
* Alan Starling
* Paul Stratford
* Barry Tucker
Billy Best is already an honorary member of the Trust.
Sadly both Don Martin and Andy McGowan are no longer with us.
The occasion will be marked with a reception later in the season.
The team’s 75/76 progress is being marked game by game on the Trust’s Facebook page, bringing back good memories for those Cobblers fans of a certain age!
