The Supporters Trust is pleased that a big step forward has finally been taken towards the completion of the East Stand at Sixfields.
We now look forward to working with West Northamptonshire Council around protecting the Asset of Community Value (ACV) land at Sixfields for development best suited to the long-term benefit of Northampton Town Football Club and the local sporting community.
And also constructively discussing infrastructure options for the old athletics track land, which forms part of the ACV.
We hope this can be done in partnership with the club, the council and supporters representatives.
This includes looking at some exciting concepts, inspired by sections of the fanbase, to explore what is viable and discuss potential ways in which desired outcomes could be enabled, supported and funded.
