Club chief executive James Whiting has responded to the Trust's offer of promoting a fans-led funding initiative for the club during the covid-19 crisis.
He thanked the Trust for getting in touch and replied: "I have spoken to Kelvin and the club's board and they do not feel it is appropriate to ask the fans for financial help while they may also be struggling themselves with their own situations as we all cope with Covid-19.
"They would rather wait until we have more information about what is going to happen regarding a return to football."
The Trust will continiue to the monitor the ongoing situation at its next board meeting on 30 April.
