Northampton Town Supporters' Trust was formed in January 1992, as a result of a large public meeting attended by over 600 fans. This meeting was called by a group of ordinary supporters, including Rob Marshall, editor of the fanzine What a Load of Cobblers, and Brian Lomax, in response to a financial crisis at the club and a series of misleading statements issued by the then chairman.

NTFC Supporters Trust is backing the publication of a new book dedicated to the life and times of former Northampton Town legend Dave Bowen, who managed the club during its only season in the top flight of English football.

The Trust is hopeful of attending a meeting with the football club within the next few weeks. Correspondence has been exchanged with a view to a meeting to discuss a number of issues raised by the football club and, not least, the future direction of Northampton Town FC.
