Northampton Town Supporters' Trust was formed in January 1992, as a result of a large public meeting attended by over 600 fans. This meeting was called by a group of ordinary supporters, including Rob Marshall, editor of the fanzine What a Load of Cobblers, and Brian Lomax, in response to a financial crisis at the club and a series of misleading statements issued by the then chairman.

The Trust will be sponsoring the Cobblers home match with Crewe Alexandra on 3 November and will be dedicating the fixture to the Tull 100 Football Remembers #NoBarriers project. Primary schoolchildren on the football club’s community programme will be invited to help design a logo for a special club Tull 100 shirt which will be worn by the first-team as they warm up for the Crewe game.
