LIBERAL DEMOCRATS OBJECT TO COUNCIL'S PLANS.
By Anthony Collett

Supporters Representative Anthony Collett stated he was "Devastated that the Liberal Democrats had challenged the Council's decision", this came after the Liberal Democrats "called in" the decision made by the Council from the Cabinet Meeting on December 5th.
Anthony Collett went on to state that "This has once again put the timescales back as the decision is now reviewed, meaning the workshops to advance the Sixfields Area Action Plan have been postponed until next year."
"It is laughable that the Liberal Democrats are saying that the council have rushed the decision, over two years on from when the plans were first released."
"The biggest disappointments are that surely all the work to test the alternatives should have been done by now, also the Liberal Democrats had the opportunity to question the Councils proposal on the night of the Cabinet meeting and yet the proposals went through with no objection from Councillors."
"It seems that the progress and viability of Northampton's Football League Team is regarded as a "Pawn in a game of Political Chess""
"The irony is that last week the Liberal Democrats were speaking up against the Conservatives over their delays on the new Barnet stadium and the Barnet fans were asking supporters to vote Liberal Democrat, yet in Northampton the reverse is happening with the same party."
"All at NTFC Supporters Limited will continue to work hard to get answers for supporters and to keep you as informed as possible."
