At the 2005 Annual General Meeting Members it was decided to appoint an Honorary President and Honorary Vice Presidents in recognition of services to Northampton Town Supporters Trust and NTFC Supporters Limited and the following proposal was accepted:
- These positions will be offered to members who have given exceptional service to NTFC Supporters Limited and/or Northampton Town Supporters Trust and persons to fill these positions will be nominated by the Board of NTFC Supporters Limited
- The holders of these positions will not hold any additional rights or benefits other than the title of Honorary President or Honorary Vice President
- Such positions will only be revoked by the Board of NTFC Supporters Limited
The first Honorary President appointed was Tony Platt and Brian Lomax was appointed the first Honorary Vice President.
At the Annual General Meeting held on 8th November 2007 Rob Marshall was appointed as a Honorary Vice President and Brian Lomax sent this message of Support:
I am delighted to support the nomination of Rob Marshall for Vice-President of the Trust. My only regret is that it was not done years ago. Rob played a crucial part in the formation of the Trust, and as Fanzine Editor provided us with the vital oxygen of publicity. Little did any of us know at the time, 16 years ago, that the Trust would prove to be the start of a movement throughout Europe to empower fans and reclaiming the people's game. There are now over 160 Trusts modelled on ours, many of whom now own or control their football clubs. Rob, we thank you.
